Functional language preference
The site may store the selected language in the browser’s local storage so the interface can remember a choice explicitly made by the visitor. This preference is functional and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
No marketing banner by design
Because the current build does not intentionally deploy non-essential advertising or profiling trackers, KŌMØ does not display a consent banner solely for the language preference. If non-exempt analytics, advertising or social-media trackers are added later, they will be blocked until the required consent has been obtained.
Browser controls
Visitors can clear local storage and cookies at any time through their browser settings. Clearing the language preference may simply cause the site to return to its default language.
Third-party links
Following an external link — for example to Instagram, a scientific source or a partner website — takes the visitor to a separate service governed by that service’s own privacy and cookie settings.
